Undoubtedly the UK's biggest pop group, JLS are nothing short of a phenomenon. New single Proud looks set not only to rocket up the charts, but to raise money and awareness for Sport Relief 2012 as the campaign's official single. The single is available to download now and money raised from the single and Sport Relief will be spent helping some of the most vulnerable people in the UK and across the world's poorest countries.
Proud is set to be another hit from Oritsé, Marvin, Aston and JB who have already notched up eight top ten singles [including five number ones], four MOBO Awards, two BRIT Awards and sold over 6 million records in the UK. Performing the track on the Sport Relief enormous night of entertainment, which kicks off at 7pm, BBC1 on Friday 23rd March, the 2012 BRIT-nominated group will also be performing a special one-off matinee concert for Sport Relief at The O2 on Saturday 24th March and will be joined by special guests Olly Murs.
JLS' Fourth Dimension Tour began last week to rapturous audiences and critics alike with the Liverpool Echo giving the shows 9/10 and the Wolves Express and Star saying "the fabulous foursome gave the crowd everything they were screaming for - and then some'. The Sun also said "JLS do fans Proud on opening night of tour' and the Daily Mirror commented that "Liverpool Is Alive with the tight sound of JLS'. JLS' arena tour continues throughout March and April.
