How the hell are you all!?
It’s been a while though seems like only yesterday.... I’ve been away and back and forth a few times. The album I recorded with Tony Hoffer is now finished and I’m ready to get back to my day job. I’m truly blown away by the work that Tony, the band and I have done together. It’s the most colourful, intriguing, magical, interesting and intensive music I think I’ve ever made. Everything that’s ever excited me about Rock n Roll all rolled up into one technicolour ball
I’m wildly looking forward to going out and playing these songs for people, if the band I’d put together to make the album wasn’t enough we now have the incomparable Mince Fratelli playing drums alongside Mr Ross McFarlane. It’s a sight to behold. The two best drummers for miles around coming together in rioteous harmony!
From Friday the 14th you’ll be able to download for free “Rhythm Doesn’t Make You A Dancer” from www.Jonfratelli.co.uk If your one of the lucky ones who can squeeze into our small room for the gig in Glasgow at the start of Feb you’ll get to see us in all our heavy glory. If not we’ll be at the HMV Picturehouse in Edinburgh on the 12th of Feb playing a load of new songs, a bunch of Fratellis songs and one or two from CVC
