Following the successful sold out live dates last year, Britain’s premier music tastemaker Annie Mac has announced the first curated AMP Collected show of 2017. The new date will take place on Thursday 23rd March at London’s legendary Jazz Café and will feature three exciting upcoming artists Ray BLK, Alma and Cosima. The night will also be hosted by the lovely BBC Radio 1 presenter Claro Amfo.

AMP Collected is the first set of events where Annie Mac has stepped back from DJing and focussed solely on the curation side. Since the first AMP Collected night in November 2014, this series of live events has become renowned for showcasing the more eclectic side of Annie Mac’s musical taste and championing the freshest in new musical talent, with line-ups including Jorja Smith, Lapsley and Rejjie Snow to name but a few.

After taking over Radio 1’s flagship primetime weekday evening show in February 2015, Annie Mac has seen her audience grow considerably. Her role as their champion of all genres of new music has further consolidated her position as one of the most powerful influencers and tastemakers in UK music today. Over and above her career as a broadcaster, Annie’s Annie Mac Presents brand has gone from strength to strength, with the AMP ‘Lost and Found’ Festival in Malta (now in it’s third year); extensive nationwide tours in both the U.K. and U.S.; and main stage DJ shows at summer festivals such as T In The Park, Creamfields and V Festival.

The new date of the AMP Collected series will see South London R&B singer-songwriter Ray BLK perform a very special set. Winner of the prestigious BBC Music Sound of 2017 poll, she was the first unsigned artist ever to achieve the honour and is one the UK’s brightest new stars.

Having just performed a headline slot at the BBC Radio 1 Future Music Festival Finnish neo pop/R&B artist Alma also joins the bill as well as London based soulful singer-songwriter Cosima, who is creating a buzz on the underground pop scene and is a firm one-to-watch for 2017.

The exciting live platform, AMP Collected will take place on Thursday 23rd March at London Jazz Café. Tickets go on sale 9am Friday 27th January and will be available HERE
