BLINK 182 ANNOUNCE LONDON FESTIVAL WARM UP SHOW

Blink-182 have announced that they will play a warm up show for their Reading / Leeds headline appearance this year at London 02 Brixton Academy on Wednesday 6th August. General Sale will begin at 9.30am on Friday 27 June.

Vocalist / bassist Mark Hoppus has said “We're very excited to preface the Reading and Leeds festivals with this Brixton Academy warm-up date.” 

Blink 182 were formed in San Diego in 1992 by Mark Hoppus and Tom De Longe and later joined by drummer Travis Barker. The bands breakthrough album, Enema Of The State, was released in 1999 and went on to sell in excess of 15 million copies worldwide.  Their next two albums, Take Off Your Pants And Jacket (2001) and  blink 182 (2003) cemented their position as a pop punk supergroup and the band have sold in excess of 35 million albums worldwide to date.  Additionally blink-182  have won a number of Awards throughout their career, including numerous MTV awards.
