Following a series of sold out shows earlier this year; Childish Gambino brings The Deep Web Tour to London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Tuesday 19th August, his only UK headline date this summer. Tickets go on sale 9am, Friday 20th June.
Childish Gambino released his second album “because the internet” in December which spawned singles ‘3005’ and ‘Crawl’. ‘because the internet’ is the follow up Gambino’s Glassnote Records debut album CAMP which was released in 2011 to enormous critical acclaim establishing the artist as one of the most challenging, exciting and lyrically interesting talents to emerge in hip hop for years.
Childish Gambino’s headline shows back in February saw great praise from fans and critics alike with The Independent saying: “Gambino is still a totally winning live presence, throwing himself full-bodily into his performance”
This new London show will be preceded by a hotly tipped appearance at this year’s V Festival on 16th-17th August – more information at www.vfestival.com
