The Killers have now confirmed that they will be joined by Manchester legends James for their special show at Wembley Stadium on June 22nd. James are currently mid their own sold out UK tour, "The Gathering Sound" to mark their incredible 30 year career. Frontman Tim Booth, says of the Wembley show,
“We are honoured and excited to be opening for a band we personally love and who seem to have held the bauble "best live band in the world" for so long, I fear they have melted it down.”
The band will join the previously announced special guests The Gaslight Anthem.

The Killers will play London’s legendary Wembley Stadium on Saturday, June 22nd, 2013. In a little under ten weeks, the Las Vegas band will join a a very select handful of artists to have made the leap to headlining this globally-famed venue, following in the footsteps of the likes of The Rolling Stones, U2, Michael Jackson, David Bowie and, more recently, Muse and Coldplay, to play the biggest show of their career so date, almost ten years since they made their UK live debut at London’s Dublin Castle in 2003.
