The original Electric Lady, Janelle Monae, returns with the announcement of three headline shows in the UK in May. The run of dates will kick off at Manchester Academy on 7 May, then visit The Institute in Birmingham on 8 May before rounding up at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on 9 May.
Fresh from releasing her second album Electric Lady which features the singles ‘Q.U.E.E.N’ featuring Erykah Baduh and ‘Primetime’ featuring Miguel along with the title track Electric Lady featuring Solange Knowles. Furthermore, Janelle has been nominated for Best International Female at this year’s BRIT Awards.
