Teenage Cancer Trust reveals an all-star comic cast for this year’s comedy night at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday 2 April 2012.

The comedy night is the penultimate show in Teenage Cancer Trust’s annual series at the iconic London venue, which kicks off on Wednesday 28 March with Roger Daltrey and special guests, and finishes on Tuesday 3 April with Florence + the Machine.

This year’s comedy line-up promises to be another great event in the Teenage Cancer Trust calendar, which over the years has proved to be one of the best nights in comedy. The multi-award winning Jason Manford, (a long-term Teenage Cancer Trust supporter) will host the evening and introduce a great line up of top comedians, including:

• Tim Minchin, the comedian and pianist with iconic dance moves, wildly teased hair, natural aplomb and enormous… sense of occasion.

• Jon Richardson, sophisticated, hilarious and disturbing the Team Captain on 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Host of Stand Up For The Week should not be missed!

Teenage Cancer Trust’s longstanding patron and The Who front man, Roger Daltrey CBE, has been the driving force behind these concerts for over a decade. Roger said, “Every year my team and I work really hard to make these concerts for Teenage Cancer Trust something special. This year is no exception and the line up of artists donating their time and talent is incredible, I hope there's something for everyone."

Eleven years of concerts have raised over £14 million for Teenage Cancer Trust, making a real difference to the lives of thousands of young people with cancer. All money raised has helped the charity to build more specialist teenage cancer units in NHS hospitals across the UK, allowing young people to be treated together with others their own age, in an environment suited to their needs.
