Last week, the duo released their new video for upcoming single “Can’t Hold Us feat. Ray Dalton” on Macklemore.com today. The video sees the hip-hop duo spreading the message of their critically-acclaimed album The Heist around the world, from New Zealand to Los Angeles, and across land, air and ocean. It took 3 months to shoot and already has over 5 million views. It is the much anticipated follow up to the “Thrift Shop” and “Same Love” videos, which amassed nearly 300 million combined YouTube views.
After years of building momentum with impassioned support from their devoted fan base, Macklemore (AKA 29 year old rapper Ben Haggerty) and 25 year old producer Ryan Lewis have emerged as the premier US hip-hop group known for their electrifying live shows, expertly crafted music, and innovative music videos and media.
