British singer / songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist Ian Skelly, who released his debut album, Cut From A Star in December, has announced headline shows in Manchester and London in February.
FRI 8 FEB - Ruby Lounge Manchester
SAT 9 FEB - Bush Hall, London
Support for all shows is provided by fellow Wirral band The Sundowners, who are set to release their debut single, Hummingbird, in March.
Cut From A Star is Skelly’s first solo long player having previously drummed for The Coral for over a decade.
The self-produced 11-track album was recorded over the last couple of years at The Coral’s rehearsal space, The Coral Caves, on the Wirral using a vintage Tascam tape cassette machine.
Skelly is joined on the record by Paul Duffy and Nick Power on bass and keyboards respectively. Additional musicians include The Coral’s James Skelly, Miles Kane and Wirral newcomers The Sundowners on backing vocals.
