This summer some of the most acclaimed live artists are taking over Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl in July for the first ever Summer In The City.
Following their sold out world tour Pixies will headline Thursday 10th July and will now be joined be special guests Maximo Park and hotly tipped Brighton duo Royal Blood.
Ahead of their appearance at Summer In The City Maximo Park will headline a tour across America before heading back to the UK for an appearance at Hop Farm. This summer will also see the band appearing at T in the Park, Standon Calling and Split Festival in Sunderland
Opening Summer in the City is the hotly tipped Brighton duo Royal Blood. Featured on the BBC Sound of 2014 and MTV Brand New lists Royal Blood recently appeared on this year’s NME tour and headlined their own first headline tour. Their new single 'Come On Over' is out now.
Also appearing at Summer in the City is legendary Manchester band James who will be performing one of their renowned headline sets on Friday 11th July and will be joined by special guests Starsailor.
