Unknown Mortal Orchestra Announce Manchester & Sheffield 2026 Headline Shows

Unknown Mortal Orchestra has announced a 2026 European tour spanning nineteen dates, including one night at Manchester's Albert Hall on March 27th and Sheffield's Foundry on March 28th.

27 March - Manchester, UK - Albert Hall

28 March - Sheffield, UK - Foundry

The tour announcement follows two projects released by UMO this year via Jagjaguwar. The first was the latest in the instrumental IC series, IC-02 Bogotá, released on 28 March. Like IC-01 Hanoi before it, the album serves as a musical document, taking its title from the place it was created, and is described as “possible background music for some strange parties and night drives in your future.” This was followed by the CURSE EP on 18 June, which drew inspiration from Italian horror films of the 1970s and 1980s and reflected the cursed times we find ourselves in. Featuring both immediate, hooky riffs reminiscent of Black Sabbath on “BOYS WITH THE CHARACTERISTICS OF WOLVES” and the laid-back, intricate guitar playing UMO is perhaps best known for on “DEATH COMES FROM THE SKY,” the release provides a fitting soundtrack to your next confrontation with the void.
